Got past the "what he was lacking" room, and immediately got stuck in the room after.

Edit: Never mind, I figure it out.

Edit 2: I beat the game, or got the "WIN" screen, same thing really. Good game, I enjoyed it.

Stuck on the first level. So hard to do without a walkthrough.

Someone got a video of actually beating this thing? Is it even possible to get back to the start of it?

It is definitely possible. Try backtracking a bit and see what may be possible :)

Any clues?

This is very cool! I think softlocks are a slightly inevitable consequence of this sort of design, but it's interesting to look at how other games with meta-puzzles — A Monster's Expedition, for example — cater for it. I think allowing players to reset a room (and designing the puzzles to account for that) ends up being a player-friendly way of dealing with the problem. It can increase the potential for shenanigans, but better to deal with those than to subject players to massive undo-chains!

(speaking of which: I'd consider allowing a more rapid, gently accelerating undo if the player holds Z. There were a few occasions where I had to backtrack a lot and the single tap Z was a bit annoying)

Anyway, those are little gripes and the main thing is that the individual puzzles, and broader puzzle, were very fun to figure out :)

Thanks you very much for the feedback! Glad that you had fun playing!

Did I "WiN"? Hard to tell at end. Spent ten minutes exploding boxes. But a very nice game, that sorely needs either save points or a restore button. Also, took a while to tell the game pieces from the background. A nice concept with some clever puzzles that could use refining. Thanx.

Thanks for playing! Appreciate the feedback.

Not possible past "what he was lacking". Unless I screwed myself earlier down the line.

It should be possible. I don't think there are any softlocks on that particular puzzle (Although there are other softlocks elsewhere in the game :P). Well, thanks for trying out the game anyway.

I like the look of this, but man I can't seem to figure out one of the puzzles in particular. He was lacking? Me too buddy.

Same, such a nice game, but I was lacking too.

Thanks for playing the game! Shame that you didn't finish it, but hopefully you had fun!
