End of Jam Log


Hello, Rowbay here, thank you for playing my game!

Hopefully you enjoyed the game. This was made for the Acerola Game Jam 0, and it's my first ever jam, so it was a ton of fun experimenting with different things. If you couldn't tell, Sleep Deprived was a project I pretty haphazardly composed together, it's a miracle it stands as well as it does. I mean, I used both Blockbench AND Blender for this game.

Jokes aside, this was really fun. I've had little experience with making music and 3d modelling prior to this. Heck, I didn't touch Godot until about 3 months ago (Yes, this was made in Godot 4.0)

Now for an issue that I've yet to handle:

Much lag - I don't really know how I could fix this (The game runs perfectly fine as an executable, apparently Godot has a problem with web games being laggy.) I don't know if it's worth it to spend too much time trying to fix this, so for now I'll leave it as it is and I've uploaded an executable version if people want to play it with much less lag.

Afterthoughts:

I will continue my game developing journey and maybe learn a bit. At some point, I will be able to look back on this game and say, "Shit, this game was shit."
